Undergraduate Admissions

The BIHS accepts applications from students in good standing who:

• Have at least a “Pass” in two papers at the GCE A/L examination (or its equivalent) in Biology and Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or Further Mathematics.
• Have at least a “Pass” in four papers at the GCE O/L examination (or its equivalent) in English Language and 3 other Science subjects.

N.B.: International students without a GCE O/L English Language result must show proof of English Language proficiency (e.g. TOEFL and IELTS).

You should obtain the contact and email addresses of your three referees.

You will be required to pay an Application Fee of 20,600cfa (non-refundable). 20,000cfa is the Application Fee while 600cfa is the charge. Please ensure you have enough funds in your Mobile Money account when you are ready to start your application.

Be aware that an Entrance Examination will be administered and only successful candidates will be selected. 

You should also ensure that you have the following documents scanned and in the right format (e.g. pdf, jpeg) before beginning the application process.

• Birth Certificate in pdf
• National Identity Card (NIC) in pdf
• O’ Level and A’ Level Certificates or their equivalents in pdf
• Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) for applicants with Work Experience in pdf
• Medical certificate of fitness not more than 3 months old in pdf
• Passport picture in jpeg

• Incomplete applications will NOT be considered
• Persons with Disabilities who meet the minimum requirements are highly encouraged to apply.
• Applications and the supporting documents are due in our office by June 30th 2022. The entrance examination will follow for selected applicants.

• Fill out the “Personal Information” form with your functional email address;
• You will receive a confirmation email with the application link;
• Click on the application link in the confirmation email;
• Enter your phone number and make a Mobile Money deposit of 20,600cfa (non-refundable) for your application fee;
• Once payment is validated, go back to the application form;
• Click on the “Validate Payment” button on the application form to proceed with filling out the application form;

• Upload the required documents and other supporting documents (e.g. Affidavit for lack of a GCE Certificate, PTA Certificate, APTA Certificate, HND Certificate, or BSc. Certificate).
• Submit your application.
